Daniel Carvajal Ramos was born on 11 January 1992, his place of is Leganés, Spain. He is a Spanish professional footballer, who plays for FC Real Madrid and his international team of  Spain. His playing position as a right-back. He has played his entire professional career with Real Madrid apart from one season with German club Bayer Leverkusen in 2012–13. He started his career at the Real Madrid youth academy and is particularly noted for his speed and the composure he displays in his position. He has been a regular at all level of Spanish international youth football and has earned a European Championship medal at Under -19 and Under-21 level.

In 2010 season, he joined Real Madrid's youth system as a 10-year-old, and continued climbing through the ranks until reaching Real Madrid Castilla. Thanks to his excellent performances in Germany, Carvajal came back to Real Madrid in July 2013 to join the first team. When he left Bayer Leverkusen, the German club’s executive director Wolfgang Holzahauser spoke of the "great impression as a person and as a sportsman" that he had made there. "We’re sorry to see him leave, but this is his chance to fulfill his boyhood dream to play in the first team at Real Madrid. He is a Real Madrid fan and we wish him all the best for the future as a footballer". On 11 July 2012,  he make a single appearance for Real's first team. He signed a five-year contract with Germany's Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee of €5 million. The Spaniards added on a buy-back clause in the region of €6.5 million if they wanted to re-sign the player after one season, €7 million after two seasons, and approximately €8.5 million after three. On June 2013 season, Real Madrid exercised its buy-back option on Carvajal, who became the team's first signing for 2013–14 for a fee believed to be in the region of €6.5 million. He appeared in 45 matches in his first season and scored twice, in the league against Rayo Vallecano. He added 120 minutes in the 2014 UEFA Champions League Final, a 4–1 win over Atlético Madrid.

Carvajal acted as backup to Barcelona's Martín Montoya at the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, playing in the 3–0 group stage win against the Netherlands as Spain went on to win the tournament. He was selected by full side manager Vicente del Bosque for his 30-man provisional squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, being excused alongside all other Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid players from the warm-up game against Bolivia on 30 May due to the Champions League final,[16] and being omitted from the final list the following day. In 2012 season, he signed for Bayer Leverkusen where he showed both his defensive skills and his ability to push forward and attack (he scored 1 goal and made 7 assists in his season in the Bundesliga). His great work rate, his speed and physical strength all led the German newspaper Bild to choose him as the best right-back in the German league. He has been a regular at all level of Spanish international youth football and has earned a European Championship medal at Under -19 and Under-21 level. On 29 August 2014, he was called up to the squad for the first time, for matches against France and Macedonia. He made his debut on 4 September in a 1–0 friendly defeat to the former, in which he played the entire match.
