Sami Khedira was born on 4 April 1987 Stuttgart, West Germany. He is a German professional footballer, who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and his German national team. His playing position as a defensive midfielder. Khedira is happy here and he is staying,  Ancelotti told the press. The matter is resolved and he stays at Real Madrid. He moved to Real Madrid from VfB Stuttgart in 2010. Khedira has appeared 30 times in several German youth national teams, he captained the side during the European Under-21 Championship 2009, which Germany has won in the final against England 4–0. Khedira made his debut for the senior national squad on 5 September 2009 in a friendly match against South Africa. He was substituted on in the 73rd minute for Simon Rolfes. He captained the Germany under-21 side to glory at the European Championships in 2009 and made his senior international debut last September. Less than a year later, he was an ever-present for Germany at the World Cup, scoring his first international goal in the third-place play-off against Uruguay earlier this month. That goal and his performances in South Africa convinced Real coach Jose Mourinho to make him one of his top summer targets and Khedira will take the next step in his career in the Primera Division next season. The 23-year-old Germany international had spent his entire career with the Swabians, coming through the youth ranks from the age of eight to make his first-team debut in October 2006, the season in which Stuttgart last won the Bundesliga. He became a regular in Armin Veh's team that season and penned his first professional contract just after the winter break, a deal he extended in 2008 until 2011. He was in the starting lineup in eight qualification matches for Euro 2012, helping Germany top their group with a record ten wins out of ten matches.
On 15 November 2013, he tore his ACL in his right knee in a friendly match against Italy, and was estimated be out for around six months, which put his participation at the 2014 FIFA World Cup into question. He recovered in time to be named in Germany's squad for the tournament, and was selected to start in the team's opening match, a 4–0 defeat of Portugal. On 8 July, he scored Germany's fifth goal in the 7–1 semi-final defeat of Brazil. He was injured during the pre-match warmup for the World Cup Final against Argentina, and was replaced by Christoph Kramer.

In 1995 season, he joining the youth team of VfB Stuttgart, he played at TV Oeffingen. In the first months of the 2006–07 season, he was called up into VfB's Bundesliga squad by manager Armin Veh. His debut followed on 1 October 2006 against Hertha BSC. He scored his first two goals on 29 October in a game against Schalke 04. On 29 January 2007 he signed his first professional contract at VfB, valid until June 2009. Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira is said to be in London with his representatives as he seeks to complete his long awaited move to Arsenal. As Khedira is now into his final year of his Real Madrid contract the Spanish giants are well aware that they could lose the player on a free transfer next summer and are therefore ready to accept a cut-price offer which Arsenal are ready to pay. Khedira is ready to reduce his £200k a week wage demands in order to force a deal through. He is also known to have boosted by the news from Carlo Ancelotti that the player is for sale, and Arsenal are now clear to grab Khedira in the coming days. Bayern Munich and Chelsea both have also been linked with the player, but he is not thought to be considering signing him.
