James David's Biography
James David Rodríguez Rubio was born 12 July 1991. He is a Colombian footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Colombian national team. He as an attacking midfielder or winger player. He is one of the best young players in the world. He has received praise for his technique, vision and playmaking skills, and has been referred to as the successor to his compatriot Carlos Valderrama.
His emergence in the Colombia national football team started with the U-20 national team, where he was captain of the 2011. He eventually captained the U-20 team during the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which eventually led him to become a regular on the senior squad by age 20. He was selected to play for FIFA World Cup 2014. He won the Golden Boot as top goalscorer and was part of the Cup's All Star XI in 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Rodríguez became well-known in Europe during his time at Porto, winning several trophies and individual awards during his 3 years at the club. In 2014, Rodríguez moved from Monaco to Real Madrid for a transfer fee of €80 million. He making him the most expensive Colombian in history. Radamel Falcao is one of the most expensive players in football.James made his debut in the UEFA Super Cup at Cardiff City Stadium against Sevilla, in which game, Real Madrid won 2–0. He played 72 minutes before being replaced by Isco.On 19 August, Rodriguez scored his first goal for Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup after coming on as a substitute for Cristiano Ronaldo at half time.
2014 world cup
On 28 June 2014, Rodríguez scored both goals to defeat Uruguay 2–0 at the Estádio do Maracanã in the round of 16. Colombia taking to its first ever World Cup quarter-final. These goals made him the first player to score in all of his team's opening matches since Ronaldo and Rivaldo in 2002. His volleyed opening goal was described as "one of the greatest goals of the World Cup". Who also called Rodríguez "the best player in the World Cup 2014". Rodríguez was named by FIFA as man of the match for the third time in four matches. The goal would later be voted as the best goal in the tournament by more than 4 million people on FIFA's website.
